Our IGC member Branding Merchandising S.A. was established in 1997 in Argentina by Hernán Bernachia, Héctor Del Piano and Osvaldo Rodriguez. Héctor and Osvaldo are both known names in Argentina’s advertising industry. Hernán studied social communication and has a background in street advertising. Together, motivated by the idea of providing customers with new and improved communication tools, they co-founded Branding Merchandising. They opened their headquarter in Puerto Madero, historically a port and back then one of the upcoming districts in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. Today this location is most known for its high-rise and modern architecture. The company shares the district’s concept; modern life and the latest trends mixed with traditional values.

Branding Merchandising S.A. has been an IGC member since 2005. When they had the opportunity to become part of IGC, president Hernán Bernachia did not hesitate. It was a step they needed to take to become a leading company in their market. Being part of IGC also opened doors to bigger markets.

Hernán also recalls a turning point that changed his professional life:
‘’During the first IGC meeting I attended in 2005, I was awarded one of the sample show prizes and I had to give my first speech in English in front of over fifty people. I didn’t know the language at all! The good part of this story is, that this moment motivated me to learn the language with the purpose of interacting and getting to know the other members of IGC. Now they are good friends of mine.’’
